Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to get it corrected or removed. Written to be read, not skimmed.
Effective September 30, 2026
1.Who we are
LanePulse AI (“LanePulse”, “we”) runs the website lanepulseai.com and the brokers' pages at app.lanepulseai.com. For anything in this policy, write to cedric@lanepulseai.com.
2.What we collect
When you sign up. Your work email, first and last name, the equipment you run, the regions you cover, and up to three shippers you would like more of if you name them. We also record the page you came from and any tracking parameter in the link you clicked, so we know which channel brought you.
When you use your page. The marks you set on a company (“called”, “emailed”), the notes you type beside a company, your one-line pitch, and when you opened your page. The link to your page is your login, so we know when it was used.
When you pay. Your name, email, plan and subscription status. Your card is entered on our payment processor's own pages and handled there. We never see or store the card number.
Technical data. A salted hash of your IP address, kept only to limit repeated sign-up attempts. We do not store the IP address itself. Page views on lanepulseai.com are counted by an analytics service that does not use cookies. We set no advertising cookies and run no ad pixels.
Emails. We keep a record of the emails we sent you (welcome, your access link, billing notices, the weekly Resources & News) and whether they left our server.
3.Why we use it
- To give you the service: build your daily list, keep your marks and notes, send your link, bill your plan (performance of our agreement with you).
- To write to you about your account, your free shippers, your plan and what changed on the product (our legitimate interest in running the service; you can ask us to stop any time).
- To improve what we research and how we present it, using how the pages are used in aggregate (legitimate interest).
- To prevent abuse of the sign-up form and keep the service secure (legitimate interest).
- To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records of payments.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4.Information about shippers
The lists on your page contain business information about companies and about people who work there: names, job titles, work phone numbers and work email addresses. We gather it from public sources (company websites, trade directories, public registries, press) and from business data providers, and we use it for one purpose: helping freight brokers reach the people who arrange a company's freight.
If you are one of those people and would rather not appear, write to cedric@lanepulseai.com. We will remove your details from our lists and from the pages of the brokers who received them, and we will tell you when it is done.
5.Who we share it with
Only the providers that run a piece of the service for us, under contract, and only what each one needs: the company that hosts the website and the brokers' pages and counts page views, the company that hosts our database in the European Union, the payment processor that holds your card and invoices, the service that sends our emails, the business data providers we use to research shippers (they receive nothing about you), and the AI providers we use to research public information about shippers (your personal data is not sent to them).
We share personal data with nobody else, unless the law requires it. Some of these providers are in the United States; where data leaves the European Union, it does so under the safeguards European law provides for such transfers.
6.How long we keep it
- Your sign-up and account data: for as long as you have a page with us, then up to twenty-four months after your last activity, so you can come back where you left off.
- Your marks and notes: for as long as your page exists.
- Billing records: for as long as accounting law requires.
- The IP hash: one hour, the length of the sign-up rate limit.
Ask us to delete your account and we remove your personal data sooner, except what accounting law makes us keep.
7.Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, receive a copy of it, object to a use of it, or ask us to stop writing to you. Write to cedric@lanepulseai.com; we answer within one month. If you are in the European Union and are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority. In France that is the CNIL.
If you live in a US state with a privacy law such as California's, you have the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted, and to not be discriminated against for asking. The same address applies. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
8.Security
Data travels encrypted between your browser and our servers. Access to the database is limited to the people who run the service. Your page is protected by its link alone, which is why we ask you not to share it: if it leaks, write to us and we issue a new one on the spot.
9.Children
LanePulse is a tool for working freight brokers. It is not meant for anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10.Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we tell you by email before it applies.
